Keeping the wigs on was a challenge in and of itself. I sewed the kilts for the triplets using some plaid fabric I had in my stash. The movie takes place in Scotland, so I built a castle among rolling hills. I painted the backdrop on my living-room floor for a more “cinematic” effect. I knew this undertaking would be a challenge, but who doesn’t love a good challenge, says a mom with a toddler and triplets! How often does Disney make a movie about a princess who has TRIPLET siblings? You see, I have that exact lineup – a three year old daughter and 1.5 year old triplets, and knew it was meant to be. My husband and I knew we’d be fools to pass up this opportunity.
